Welcome to Nijan. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Nijan, an online print-on-demand lifestyle brand based in Kochi, Kerala, India, operating through nijan.in. By accessing or using this website, or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with our Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or place an order.
We reserve the right to update, restrict, or withdraw any part of this website or these Terms at any time without prior notice.
1. Your Account
If you create an account with us, you're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree that any information you provide — including your email, billing, and shipping details — is accurate, current, and complete. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
2. Products, Pricing and Orders
Every Nijan product is made to order — printed specifically for you when you place your order. We make every effort to display product colours, designs, and descriptions accurately, but screen colours may vary slightly from printed colours, and a size measurement tolerance of ±0.5 inches is standard in apparel manufacturing. Neither is considered a defect.
Prices are listed in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes (GST). Prices are subject to change without notice, but the price at the time your order is confirmed is the price you pay. Placing an order is an offer to purchase — we reserve the right to accept or decline any order, and your order isn't confirmed until we accept it (via email or WhatsApp confirmation).
We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and Cash on Delivery. COD orders attract an additional handling fee shown at checkout, and we'll confirm COD orders via WhatsApp before production begins.
3. Shipping and Delivery
See our Shipping Policy for delivery timelines, shipping charges, and how we handle delays or undelivered orders. All delivery times are estimates and aren't guaranteed — we're not responsible for delays caused by courier partners or events outside our control.
4. Returns and Refunds
See our Return & Refund Policy for what qualifies for a replacement or refund, and what doesn't. Because every product is made to order, our return policy is more limited than a standard retail store.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on nijan.in — including our brand name, logo, design lines, collection names, taglines, photography, and written content — is the intellectual property of Nijan and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any of it without our prior written permission. Our brand name "Nijan" and tagline "Made for the uncurated" are proprietary to us. Product designs created by Nijan are original works and may not be replicated or resold.
6. Third-Party Links
Our site may link to third-party websites (including social platforms like Instagram and Facebook). We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites — if you visit them, you do so at your own risk.
7. Relationship with Shopify
Nijan is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our website and store to you. Any purchase you make is made directly with Nijan, not with Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of the sale between you and Nijan, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Our website and products are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind beyond what's expressly stated in our policies. To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Nijan is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our products. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Nijan harmless from any claims, damages, or costs — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of this website.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our website or services at our discretion, without notice, if we determine you've violated these Terms. You remain responsible for any amounts owed up to the date of termination.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of nijan.in or a purchase made through it are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ernakulam, Kerala, India.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, and continued use of nijan.in after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
